Counseling and Therapy Services
Culturally-attuned, non-pathologizing therapy that helps you put your mental health in context, while addressing both the emotional and clinical impact of your experiences.
Who We Serve:
Our therapeutic and community work centers the experiences of Xennial and Millennial women, those who are used to being the “strong one,” but are finding that the mental and physical toll of chronic stress, oppression, societal dysfunction, and ongoing demands is becoming harder to sustain.
You may be navigating anxiety, burnout, ambiguous grief, or other clinical mental health challenges (diagnosed or not diagnosed), that don’t seem to be improving; while also noticing the physical and somatic impact of stress on your body, energy, and overall wellbeing.
Therapy offers a space to process, understand, and receive support for it all, while collaborating with your other care professionals to ensure you are cared for holistically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Services are currently being offered virtually, with group counseling services offered in-person and virtually.

The first step in getting started is by joining one of my groups or workshops.
Community is a core part of sustainable wellbeing. Many of the challenges people face, including chronic stress, burnout, and feeling like you have to carry everything alone, are shaped in isolation and sustained by it. Beginning in a group setting allows you to start this work in a space where you can hear, reflect, and connect with others who are navigating similar experiences.
Groups and workshops are designed to introduce you to my approach, help you understand your mental health in context, and begin building supportive practices you can use in your daily life.
After participating in a group or workshop, you’ll have the option to schedule an individual session if you’d like to continue your work in a more personalized way.

Therapy focuses on emotional processing, mental health concerns, and clinical support, which may include diagnosis and treatment planning. Only Maryland residents are considered for therapy due to license restrictions.
Coaching is designed to support you in building the practices, systems, and habits that increase your capacity to meet your goals without burning yourself out. Coaching is available to clients regardless of location.

Yes, with a caveat.
I currently accept insurance through Headway for Maryland-based clients.Accepted plans include Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Kaiser Permanente (Mid-Atlantic), and Quest Behavioral Health.
Here is the caveat: working with insurance companies can be challenging for both clients and therapists. Reimbursement rates, delays, and limitations in care can impact the quality and sustainability of services on both sides. Because of this, I’ve chosen to be intentional about which insurance providers I work with, and I am in the process of phasing out some plans that are not aligned with sustainable care practices.
At this time, CareFirst is still accepted, but may be phased out for individual services in the future and limited to group offerings.
For those not using insurance, I offer:
Private pay sessions
A limited number of sliding scale spots
Acceptance of Loveland Foundation therapy vouchers
Lower-cost group and workshop offerings
Coaching services (including for clients outside of Maryland)
-
The standard rate for individual therapy sessions is $200 per session.
I also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to support accessibility. These range from $150–$175 per session, based on your current financial circumstances. Sliding scale slots are designed to provide temporary support and include periodic increases over time, so that access can remain available to others as well.
If cost is a concern, I also encourage starting with one of my groups or workshops, which offer a more accessible way to begin this work in a supportive community setting.

My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed care.
From this foundation, I also integrate more holistic and reflective approaches, such as inner child work, spiritual exploration, and liberation-centered frameworks. For those who are open to it, this may include incorporating Zodiac charts, personality tests or referrals to other healing modalities (psychedelics, EMDR, 12-step programs, etc.) to support deeper insight and connection.
At the core of my work is a culturally-attuned, non-pathologizing approach. Rather than viewing your experiences as something “wrong” with you, we work to understand your mental health in context; exploring how your environment, history, and lived experiences have shaped what you’re carrying.
While your story matters, our work is not only about understanding the past. It is also about building a more compassionate relationship with yourself in the present, supporting the parts of you that have adapted to survive, and creating more sustainable ways of moving forward.
